Graduate Students:
We are not currently accepting graduate students for the Fall 2023 cycle. However, if you would like to discuss options or potential funding, please send an e-mail to laura.stein [@] ou.edu.
Postdocs:
Are you interested in using tools from molecular biology, neurobiology, and physiology to understand how organisms integrate information during development? I am looking for a motivated postdoc with skills in molecular (RNA-Seq, bisulfite sequencing) and/or IHC techniques to examine molecular mechanisms underlying information integration, how this results in an integrated phenotype, and its consequences for evolutionary and ecological processes. I am especially interested in working with you to write an NSF Rules of Life Postdoctoral Fellowship (https://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=503622) to fund your own independent lines of research in this area, using threespine stickleback as a model system.
Interested postdocs should include a CV, brief statement of research interests, and outline of their ideas for a proposal.
